We're a church family made up of all sorts of people, from all sorts of nationalities and backgrounds and we'd love for you to come and meet us.
You might have just moved to London for work or study and be looking for a church to call home. Here's a taste of what we do each week:
Our Sunday service is the heartbeat of our life as a church. We meet from 4pm for coffee & cake, and start our service at 4.30pm. We love to sing, pray, and hear the Bible preached. After the service we enjoy some food together.
We're committed to living for Jesus all week, so coming together on a Wednesday evening is important to us. We have food at 7.15pm, and kick off at 7.45.
The first Wednesday of the month is Globe Central, where we worship together and spend the evening in prayer for our church, the South Bank, and the world.
The other Wednesdays are Globe Focus. This is the best place to find you feet at church. After eating we enjoy a talk then a Bible study together. We have Bible study groups we stick with each week who we can get to know, pray with, and look out for.
We realise that not everyone who comes to the Globe Church will be able to live in the locality. That's not a problem. But we do still want to seek to build a community of God’s people who love one another and work together.
On a Sunday and Wednesday we meet at Wilcox House, 140-148 Borough High Street, SE1 1LB.
Moving to London
If you are moving to London then we would love to be able to serve you.
There might be things we can do to help out. Whether it's providing some home cooked food, helping to move boxes, or just someone to say, “Hi".
Maybe you are looking to discover more about Jesus. You would be very welcome to come and join us on Sundays. Wherever you are on the journey, we love it when new people come and join us.
Send us an email and let us know when you are arriving and whether we can help out.
